Measuring Fruits

Measuring Fruits

Hey everyone hope you guys are having a great day… πŸ’–πŸ˜πŸ’–

I just heard something that really made me pause, think and seek wisdom, and insight…
thru The Word of God.

Lately, especially this year there has been discussions about the amount of fruit someone acquires from the Lord… even to the point that we are measuring fruits within the Body of Christ.

I understand why it’s okay to judge the fruits…

Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.

Matthew 7:20 NLT

However… not really clear on measuring fruits, like on a scale on how much you got versus, what someone else has or does not have.

➑️ For those who don’t know my favorite scripture in the Word of God is Galatians 5:22.

The Fruits of The Holy Spirit:

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Gentleness, Goodness, Faithfulness, & Self-Control. πŸ‡πŸŽπŸ₯

My question today is… How do you measure these character traits in a person… and should you do it at all???

Is it our job to point out and judge these types of fruits in the development of person and their walk with Christ Jesus???

Isn’t it God who released the Holy Spirit to introduce The Power into the world right after Jesus was Baptized???

Wasn’t it Jesus who released the Holy Spirit to Us after Jesus ascended up to heaven to sit at the right side of God, The Father Almighty’s Throne???

Doesn’t God have the first & final say so… on how much fruit a person would carry and develop through their growing process with The Lord & Savior Christ Jesus???

Does God play into favorites to treat that person differently from others who bear more fruit or even lesser fruit???

The Answer to the above question is No…

For God does not show favoritism.
(Romans 2:11 NLT)

➑️ So, what gives us the right to measure fruits in a person’s walk with Christ.

When Jesus clearly repeats and says the most important commandment…

Love Your Neighbor As Yourself.
(Luke 10:25-28 NLT)

β€œLet me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another.

This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciplesβ€”when they see the love you have for each other.”

(John 13:34‭-‬35 MSG)

These scriptures that I read today… really brings up a good points about a person’s Fruits of (Character) aka Fruits of The Holy Spirit…

I hope you all will take some time to read it. Stay Blessed & Highly Loved & Highly Favored

No One Can Snatch You From God’s Hand

Jesus replied, β€œI have already told you, and you don’t believe me. The proof is the work I do in my Father’s name.

But you don’t believe me because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else.

No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.”

John 10:25‭-‬30 NLT

I Am Your Father God

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
